Animal Companion

OpenCV
Movement Sensing

Animal Companion is an interactive installation commissioned for the Heard Museums 2015 summer exhibit on Superheroes.

A racoon featured in an Animal Companion animation.

The Animal Companion interactive installation featured a projection controlled by movement sensed by an overhead camera. My main contribution was hardware setup and vision systems software development, as well as a logging and remote access system to facilitate maintenance of the system during its 4 month exhibit at the Heard Museum. The movement analysis software was written in C++ using OpenCV.
