The amyloid project consists of an interactive installation and a live performance, around a custom-built sculpture equiped with sensors.

The amyloid project structure.

The amyloid project is a collaboration between art/tech collective urbanSTEW and Pysics professor Dr. Sara Vaiana. My main contribution was the hardware and software design of the interactive bars equiped with pressure sensor strips and pager motors, connected to an Arduino microcontroller. The interactive installation as well as live performances were part of the spark! festival in Mesa, AZ.

There is a Make magazine blog post with more details.
